- Administer slowly by intravenous or subcutaneous injection. Intravenous administration is recommended for the treatment of acute conditions. When administered subcutaneously, the dose should be divided over several sites. Warm the solution to body temperature prior to use. Use aseptic technique for administration. Dosage may be repeated after several hours if required or as recommended by a veterinarian.
