Help your hens develop better laying habits with Brown Rubber Chicken Nest Eggs from My Favorite Chicken®. These realistic training eggs encourage hens to lay where they should—in the nesting box instead of on the coop floor, in corners, or around your yard. Each pair closely matches the size, shape, and weight of a real chicken egg. As a result, hens naturally recognize the nesting box as the proper place to lay. Adding Rubber Chicken Nest Eggs to your nesting boxes helps young hens understand where to lay their eggs. Consequently, you’ll spend less time searching for hidden eggs and enjoy cleaner, easier egg collection. These realistic nest eggs are ideal for training new laying hens, encouraging use of nesting boxes, reducing floor eggs, and preventing hidden outdoor nests. Egg eating can quickly become a difficult habit to break. Because these nest eggs are made from durable rubber, chickens cannot crack or eat them. As hens peck the training eggs without success, they become less likely to develop egg-eating behavior. These Rubber Chicken Nest Eggs also provide a simple way to identify broody hens. Place a training egg in the nesting box and observe your flock. If a hen consistently sits on the egg, she may be preparing to hatch chicks. This easy method helps you monitor broodiness without risking fresh eggs. Manufactured in the Netherlands, these reusable rubber nest eggs provide years of dependable use. Unlike fragile ceramic or wooden alternatives, the flexible rubber construction resists pecking, cracking, and everyday wear while maintaining a realistic feel. Whether you’re raising your first backyard flock or managing experienced laying hens, Rubber Chicken Nest Eggs offer a simple, natural way to encourage better nesting habits while making daily egg collection easier.
